Handball Futures Launches Denver Development & Skills Camp in Conjunction with Samala Super Cup

Participants from the Chicago Development & Skills Camp

Denver, CO — Handball Futures proudly announces its Development & Skills Camp on Sunday, December 7, 2025, held at Volo Arena (3600 Wynkoop St., Denver, CO 80216) from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. The camp coincides with the Samala Super Cup, a major event sponsored by Samala and hosted by the Denver Wolves Team Handball Club, under the leadership of Samala’s CEO, Moshe Mukori. (Samala Super Cup).

This alignment offers an exceptional opportunity for athletes, coaches, media, and fans to experience a full day of high-level handball activity in the heart of Colorado.

What the Camp Offers:

  • Hands-on instruction for players of all backgrounds — whether completely new to handball or already experienced — taught by expert coaches.
  • Skill and athletic benchmarking, giving participants concrete feedback.
  • Evaluation data shared with USA Team Handball Women’s National Team coaching staff — providing a potential pathway to national team opportunities and future Olympic cycles.
  • A spotlight on female athletes aged 18+, especially multi-sport competitors drawn from basketball, soccer, volleyball, softball, and more.
  • Pathway to the 2026 Handball Futures Festival.

Why This Matters:
The Denver camp adds a meaningful development component alongside the very competitive Samala Super Cup, amplifying exposure for handball and offering dual value: emerging athletes can learn and be evaluated, while spectators and participants in the Cup benefit from immersive handball community energy.

“This is an exciting milestone for Handball Futures and for the future of the sport in the U.S.,” said Michael D. Cavanaugh, HFF Tournament Director. “Our goal is to provide athletes with the resources and pathways they need to succeed, while strengthening the overall pipeline for USA Team Handball.”
