Handball Futures, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization created by a group of Team Handball Olympians and National Team Players. Our mission is to foster the growth of team handball in the United States by organizing world-class competitive events and development programs.
July 22–25, 2026 Fountain Valley School | Colorado Springs, CO
Modeled after the Original Olympic Sport Festival — An Olympic-Style Showcase Elevating the Next Generation of U.S. Women’s Handball.
Forty-eight athletes — selected through an invitation-only process — will compete in a tournament environment that mirrors international play, showcasing their skills and readiness to advance in their athletic careers. The Festival also serves as a key talent identification moment, with athletes evaluated by the Women’s National Team Coach.
More than a tournament, the Festival celebrates women’s handball in the U.S. — strengthening the national pipeline, fostering regional connection, and helping define the future of the sport.

The Handball Futures community is built by athletes, families, coaches, donors, volunteers, and supporters who believe in the power of sport to inspire, connect, and transform lives. As we celebrate our inaugural Handball Futures Festival, we’re proud to share reflections from members of our community whose passion and commitment have helped make this journey possible.
I’m very excited to support the Handball Futures program because of the incredible opportunities it provides for so many young athletes—not only to participate in a great sport, but also to meet fellow athletes and coaches, and potentially represent the USA.

I am incredibly excited to see the fruits of cooperation and tremendous work by Handball Futures at the Futures Festival in less than a month’s time. This is exactly the kind of shared effort and forward-looking programming our sport needs as we continue building stronger pathways for athletes, coaches, clubs, and supporters across the country.
