Our Mission

Handball Futures, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization created by a group of Handball Olympians.

Our mission is to foster the growth of handball in the United States by organizing world-class competitive events and development programs. Through the Handball Futures Festival, we aim to inspire and train a new generation of athletes, offering them a platform to showcase their talent and build pathways toward international competition, including the Olympic Games. By creating an inclusive and supportive environment, we seek to elevate handball’s visibility, while empowering athletes to achieve excellence in the sport.

Handball Futures: A Strategic Partner for Athlete Development

Athlete recruitment is a core responsibility of USA Team Handball (USATH), as well as the wide-ranging demands of operating a national governing body. Handball Futures supports USATH’s efforts by expanding opportunities for athletes in handball through talent identification and development camps. The capstone event is the Handball Futures Festival. Through this partnership, Handball Futures focuses specifically on identifying, training, and developing new female athletes for the national team pathway. Together, we’re strengthening the athlete pipeline, advancing gender equity, and growing the sport nationwide.
