Handball Futures Hosts Women’s Olympic Team Handball Development & Skills Camp in Chapel Hill in Conjunction with the Carolina Blue Cup

Chapel Hill, NC — Handball Futures will host a Women’s Development & Skills Camp on February 21 at UNC’s Fetzer Gym, held in conjunction with the Carolina Blue Cup, a regional handball event bringing together players and programs from across the area.

The camp is part of Handball Futures’ national mission to expand the female athlete pipeline for Olympic team handball, in support of USA Team Handball—the National Governing Body for the Olympic sport—as efforts continue to grow and strengthen the sport nationwide.

Designed for both new and experienced athletes, the camp offers a hands-on introduction to Olympic team handball as well as advanced development opportunities for returning players. Athletes will be coached and evaluated by Handball Futures coaches, with evaluations and feedback shared directly with the USA Women’s National Team coaching staff.
