The Handball Futures Festival is an, Olympic-style showcase designed to bring together the top women handball athletes in the United States. Modeled after the Original Olympic Sport Festival, the event combines elite competition, community, and national-team exposure in one immersive experience.
Approximately 48 athletes will be selected from those who have participated in sanctioned Handball Futures events and/or are part of the USA Team Handball Olympic Athlete Pool.
Over the course of the tournament, athletes will compete in a high-level tournament environment that mirrors international play—providing a rare opportunity to demonstrate their skills, growth, and readiness for the next level.
The Festival also serves as a key talent identification moment, with athletes evaluated and scouted by the Women’s National Team Coach. More than a tournament, the Festival is a celebration of women’s handball in the U.S.—strengthening the national pipeline, fostering connection across regions, and helping define the future of the sport.
